So, you really want to know about me?

Well, it wasn't too long ago that I enjoyed actively participating in golf, tennis and bowling. In October1997, I was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia Sydrome (FMS), a very painful arthritic-like affliction affecting the muscles and joints. Since that time, I can no longer golf, play tennis or even bowl because of the stresses and strains that those sports put on my muscles. About the only things I can do now are swimming, walking, bicycle riding (all of which I have done since I can remember), and working out at the gym (which I just started not too long ago). Swimming, walking, and biking are low-impact exercises that don't harm my muscles as badly as golf, tennis, and bowling. My time at the gym includes the treadmill (or other cardiovascular machine), swimming, Jacuzzi, steam room and sauna; doing this routine on a regular basis has not only toned up my bod, but keeps my muscles flexible (which is very important, but difficult to achieve in my condition), and I am starting to feel much better too! :-)

Okay, so that gives you an idea of what my physical condition is like. . . now on to the really, REALLY boring stuff.
