Holloman AFB
Home of the 49th Fighter Wing! Near Alamogordo, NM (about an hour's drive from Las Cruces). Holloman has the distinction of being the home to the F117A Nighthawk Stealth Fighter. The 8th and 9th Fighter Squadrons (part of the 49th FW) are the only USAF Squadrons assigned to the F117A.
